Welcome to the Philadelphia Film Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Philadelphia Film Festival mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.

Philadelphia Film Festival The Philadelphia Film Festival is one of the fastest-growing international film events in the United States. It is known as a premier presenter of exceptional studio, independent and international cinema and this year hosts something in the region of 150 features. Five cinemas screen movies, including two in the city center - Prince Music Theater and Gershmann Y, one in the old city - Ritz East, and two in West Philadelphia - The Bridge (cinema de lux) and International House. Fifty countries are represented with a total of over 300 films (features, documentaries, shorts and animation), separated into various themes including Contemporary World Cinema, Cinema of the Muslim Worlds, New Korean Cinema, American Independents, the Documentary Tradition and the intriguingly-titled Danger After Dark and Beyond the Frame.…...more!
